SRILANKAN DESIGN INFLUENCE - getting to know the SL design

It was our usual history class and we were asked to borrow a book about designs in Sri Lanka from the library. Then we were divided in to groups of  6 people and given 40 mins to go through 2 books that we got. I got the chance to go through the book named "Imagining Modernity"  which had the architectural works of the famous Sri Lankan Architect Mr. Valentine Gunasekara.

It was a great book and in that short period I got to know a lot of interesting facts. Then we were given 20 mins  to prepare a presentation board based on those 2 books that were given to our group. We were divided into 3 sub groups and we did 3 presentation boards.

Though it was a tough task we tried to divide the work load and gave our best.
